These lentils are 100% organic and sourced in Montana. Green Lentils are very popular in South America. Their earthy flavor works well in meat dishes, chili, casseroles, veggie burgers, and hearty soups. This is the traditional lentil soup legume. It is one of the largest lentils and holds up well in all recipes. They are low in fat and high in protein and fiber. No need to soak them, just simmer in water for 20-30 minutes until tender, then drain.
