These lentils are 100% organic and sourced in Montana. French Green Lentils are considered a gourmet lentil in Europe and America. Great to add to soups and cold salads. They hold their shape and flavor well so they make great leftovers. They have a smooth texture and a slightly spicy flavor. They are low in fat and high in protein and fiber. No need to soak them, just simmer in water for 20-25 minutes until tender, then drain.
