These lentils are 100% organic and sourced in Montana. We recommend Spanish Brown Lentils, also known as the Pardina Lentil, for soups, salads, stuffing for poultry or squash, and for sprouts. They work especially well in Mediterranean dishes and on salads with assertive vinaigrette dressings. They are low in fat and high in protein and fiber. No need to soak them, just simmer in water for approximately 25 minutes until tender, then drain.
Please note these lentils are produced in a facility that also processes wheat.
