I had love at first sight with B-Bar ranch beef jerky.
As a former vegetarian, I'm selective about animal protein and its sourcing. Jerky is such a convenient way to bring protein, fat, and salt on my mountain adventures and is so delicious, I actually stop to eat. My pup loves that part.
The way the beef is cut into strips that resemble meat with its perfect chewy but soft enough to enjoy texture, ideal balance of spicy, sweet, salty, and smoky flavor, makes it almost addictive.
While I ration it thoughtfully, I'd pay any price I can remotely afford to have a stash at home in NH.
And, as a totally awesome surprise, there was a complimentary package of ground wagyu in my box which was exciting, delicious, and very cool. So different than any ground beef I've ever had. It cooks into the best burgers ever.
When I get near the end of my fifteen packages, I'll definitely order again if it's available.
And, now that I've seen how good the ground wagyu is, I'll hope to be able to afford a bit of that too.
I am in love with Montana and enjoying food from there is such a lift and a gift in NH.
Thank you:).
